An ideally located project

The first solar photovoltaic farm developed by GreenYellow on Malagasy territory is located between Antananarivo (60 km south of the capital) and Antsirabe.
This strategic location covers the electricity needs of approximately 50,000 households, while meeting the growing demand for energy related to the economic and industrial development of the Vakinankaratra region: + 76% in 2 years.

GreenYellow Indian Ocean is attending the 20th Africa Energy Forum, taking place in the wonderful location of Beachcomber Paradis, in Mauritius.

This is an opportunity for us to build strong partnerships in Africa, and add track record to our 70 MWp already developped or in construction in the Indian Ocean.

GreenYellow sold to the Dutch infrastructure fund DIF, 85% of seven solar plants representing an estimated power of 10 MWp. The installations are located in the south of France and in Corsica on roofs of warehouses, warehouses and parking lots. The purchase was made by DIF infrastructures who invested 1.15M € in September 2015.

This operation is part of a long-term agreement between GreenYellow and DIF. In 2011 DIF had already acquired 85% of 4 solar projects of 10.2 MWp. By the end of 2013 DIF infrastructures had already purchased 71 MWp from GreenYellow.
